A full day visit to Versailles & gardens with a royal picnic on the grounds; a tour of the Royal Chapel where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were married, the theatre, the royal bedroom & private apartments, the farm and the Petit Trianon and more. We'll visit the latest addition to the palace: the  Coach Gallery, reopened after a nine-year closure. We'll imagine what the life was like in the late 1700's.

A full day private guided tour will trace the steps of the young Marie Antoinette when she arrived in Paris on June 8, 1773, three years after her stepping foot in France:
The walk begins at the College de France, still in its 18th century glory today, crossing the Pont des Arts to the Louvre, the Tuileries, Comedie Française, Notre Dame, La Sainte Chapelle, Church St. Geneviève & The Pantheon. Hotel de la Monnaie for lunch at the Restaurant Guy Savoy.                      

A self-guided tour of the Louvre featuring paintings of Marie Antoinette, the royal family & life in the 1700's, then a walk through the Palais Royal with all its luxury boutiques surrounding the once royal playground.

A tour of the Chateau de Compiégne & its garden which was the couple's favorite home away from Versailles. We'll visit the 'Salon des jeux" where Marie Antoinette played cards in the evening, then walk through the rooms that she renovated just for the royal family.
